Our Story:
Founded in 1960 as Walton Youth Centre, WYCP became a registered charity in 1994 and evolved into its current form to reflect its broader community focus.
Youth nights run during term time for ages 8-18
We have a junior (8-12) and a senior (13-18) group
We offer projects that support community members
Holiday programmes offer positive activities for young people during the school holidays
Our youth workers go out on the streets to meet young people on their territory
1-1 support is an opportunity for young people to meet with a staff member to discuss any issues, worries or concerns that are affecting them
The Base is our youth club on wheels- bringing our work out into the local community
